Time to fully charge
What is the lifespan for the NS800
Super capacitors have a longer lifespan than other types of battery charging devices. The number of charge cycles (charge and discharge) is determined capacitor density. The NS800 uses high density capacitors and can achieve around 200,000 charge cycles.

How to power On and Off
To power on the NS800, simply press the power button located at the top left side of the device. If the unit is adequately charged, the display will indicate both the percentage of capacitor charge remaining and the internal voltage level. Should the display remain off, it indicates that the unit requires charging.
Following use, the NS800 is designed to automatically time out and shut off; however, if you prefer to turn off the display manually, you can do so by pressing and holding the power button for five seconds before releasing it.
Troubleshooting
What voltage is required to start the engine
A typical automotive starter will generally struggle to function below around 10.8 volts; most experts consider this the lowest practical voltage for starting a car, as significantly lower voltages will likely prevent the starter from engaging properly and turning the engine over effectively.
Key points to remember:
Minimum cranking voltage:
- While the standard battery voltage is 12 volts, the “cranking voltage” (voltage when the starter is engaged) needs to be slightly higher to ensure proper operation.
- Even slightly below 11 volts, starting a car may become difficult, often requiring multiple attempts.
- If your battery consistently drops below 10.8 volts when cranking, it likely needs to be replaced.
NS800 Force Start button will not function
The NS800 display voltage must be at lease 13V in order to properly function.
Test Steps for Force Start Function:
- Pushed the button 5 times , there will be a 10sec preparatory phase.
- The ‘’START’’ indicator on the monitor will light up, and then begin flashing after the 10secs
- The discharge will start for 30secs with a long tone sound, and the “START” indicator on the monitor will stop flashing.
- Start car engine durning the long tone period.
